Poem: Like the Shepherd

May my eyes be your eyes
in seeing those in need.

May my ears be your ears,
others’ pleas to heed.

May my hands be your hands,
to lift, to soothe, to hold.

May my feet be your feet,
guiding sheep into the fold.

May my words be your words
of faith and hope and love.

May my heart be your heart
bound to Father up above.
